Hi to everyone at Happy Tails! Just wanted to bring you up to date on Gina, the black and tan coon hound I adopted in late June. She has been renamed Sidda and has bonded well with Sam-I-Am (my rescued beagle/shepherd mix) and even plays with the cats. She was not housebroken and had that down in about 2 weeks. She now sits on command as well as understands "down". We are working on "come". We all take long walks here in the country and she is keeping Sam busy as their energy level is a good match and they play for hours. She is still very shy of strangers as well as cars, but does like to ride as long as I'm not playing race car driver. We very seldom hear the coon bay.She is really a quiet girl and loves to snuggle. She's a chewer and we are working on that - plenty on rawhide in the house, but today she took out the handle of her lead. We look forward to many years with her sweet temper.
