Cruelty and Rescue

On May 5, 2005 we received a complaint from a resident on Outlet road in Manchester that there was an injured cat under her porch. We responded and found a pretty little tiger kitty with an arrow protruding from her front leg. The arrow had been shot through the leg and wedged between the two bones in the lower part of the leg. It appeared as if this poor cat had been
like this for at least a few days. The cat was unable to function properly because moving the arrow caused a great deal of pain. Despite her pain, the kitty was friendly and seemed thankfully relieved to be rescued. She was taken to Macedon Veterinary Care where Dr. Oros surgically removed the arrow. She is recovering nicely and has charmed the entire staff at both Macedon Vet and The Humane Society. She will be spayed and vaccinated and after recovering fully she will need a wonderful home to go to with a family that will keep her indoors.Anyone with information on who may have been involved in the shooting of this sweet cat should please contact us! You may remain anonymous.
