We adopted Ruby on Monday of this week and it was a rough go at first. Our female aussie Lucy was not too happy-we had a couple tussles, although Lucy's brother Phin thought she was a new toy.
Lucy and Ruby are starting to adjust, it will just take time. I was thrilled that Ruby was house trained, and does well in the crate. She is a bright little girl she has learned sit and I will be working with her on other things. I am glad we got her even though I had second thoughts when she wasn't getting along with Lucy. I took her to be groomed at Boom Towne and she did great.
I was surprised that she had been at Happy Tails so long since she is a small dog. I'm guessing that because she wasn't spayed had a lot to do with it, it is costly. That is being taken care of on Monday the 14th my Valentines gift to her! Our vet thinks she's a doll and told her she won the lottery by being adopted by us.
I am attaching some pictures so you can see how she looks all pretty. and sitting waiting for her cookie with Phin.
