Hi . My name is Wiggles. I live in the country with my mom. She adopted me back in late October after I had been picked up at 10-12 weeks roaming the streets. That was really scary for me, but Mom has spent a lot of time with me helping me overcome some of my fears. They told mom I would have a lot of energy and boy were they right. I just never seem to settle down in any one place for long. She hopes when I grow up a little more I will. However, mom has to realize she really got two dogs in one when she got me...at least that is what some people say. My top half looks one way and my bottom another. I do wonder who my mom and dad were. Mom is training me, has patience most of the time, and it is good to know I am here to stay. I had a real problem with an antibiotic resistent infection that I must have picked up in the streets with all that food and water I drank, but that is gone now and we are all relieved. I know mom wants another playmate for me, but she is waiting until I get a little more mature. I am sweet and have a great temperament, even if I do get a little rambunceous lots of times. I know I am loved and will be cared for, which I really didn't know would happen when I was on the streets. I have a great yard to play in and lots of toys. Playing ball and soccer are two of my favorites. Digging holes isn't far behind, but this I have to do when Mom isn't looking. She runs around and fills them in and hopes I will outgrow this. I can't make her any promises. She walks me, takes me running (she's a little slow, but a flexi works) and spends a lot of time with me. I hope everyone can be so lucky.If I ever escape, and I try sometimes, I do have a chip so if you ever see me running around loose please call the humane society and let them know. I'd be real grateful.
