Public document
Raims Code of Conduct and Ethics
This public version presents the principles that guide Raims and people who represent the company. Its purpose is to show, clearly, how we expect to conduct relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, authorities, and other public audiences.
Public commitment
Raims operates in a financial technology environment where trust, security, and responsibility are essential. This public Code presents the integrity, respect, data protection, and fraud-prevention principles that guide our relationships with customers, partners, suppliers, and other public audiences.
It explains, in direct language, how Raims expects to conduct its relationships and how people and organizations representing the company should act.
Who this applies to
This Code applies publicly to Raims and to people or organizations acting on its behalf, including authorized representatives, service providers, suppliers, and partners.
Customers, payers, and other users can use this document to understand the principles that guide our communications, decisions, and business relationships.
Conduct principles
Raims expects every action taken on its behalf to be guided by integrity, respect, responsibility, proportional transparency, confidentiality, and good faith.
When in doubt, the appropriate conduct is the one that can be clearly explained, respects the people involved, and protects trust in the platform.
- Act honestly, without manipulating information, records, metrics, financial data, or communications.
- Treat people with respect, without harassment, discrimination, intimidation, abuse of power, or retaliation.
- Protect Raims, customer, payer, and partner information, using data only when there is a legitimate purpose.
- Report risks, failures, incidents, conflicts of interest, and improper pressure as soon as they are identified.
Respectful relationships
Raims values professional, safe, and collaborative relationships. Technical, commercial, or operational disagreements should be handled objectively, respectfully, and with a focus on resolution.
Harassment, discrimination, threats, humiliation, persecution, retaliation, improper exposure, or any conduct that compromises people's dignity are not tolerated.
Integrity and conflicts of interest
Decisions related to Raims must be made with independence, good faith, and responsibility. Personal, family, financial, or commercial interests must not influence, or appear to influence, a decision made on behalf of the company.
Situations that may create a conflict of interest should be communicated for appropriate guidance before any decision or negotiation.
- It is prohibited to request, offer, or accept bribes, commissions, favors, personal benefits, or improper advantages.
- Gifts or courtesies are only acceptable when reasonable, transparent, and not creating an expectation of favoritism.
- Invitations, hospitality, discounts, gifts, or benefits that may appear to create a conflict of interest should be refused or reported.
- Relationships with suppliers and partners should consider real need, competence, price, risk, security, and sufficient documentation.
Data protection and security
Personal, financial, commercial, and technical data should be processed with a legitimate purpose, proportional necessity, and appropriate care.
Raims expects care with credentials, customer information, payer data, documents, and communications, in line with contracts, applicable laws, and the platform's public policies.
- Use, share, or retain information only when there is a legitimate need.
- Protect credentials, access, and sensitive information against loss, misuse, or unauthorized disclosure.
- Report suspected incidents, leaks, improper access, or irregular use of information.
Fraud prevention and AML/CFT
As a payments platform, Raims follows principles for preventing fraud, money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions exposure, and misuse of the platform.
Signs of fraud, illegal activity, attempted rule evasion, improper pressure, or behavior incompatible with laws and applicable public policies should be reported.
- Do not support, facilitate, or conceal irregular operations by a customer, partner, supplier, or person linked to Raims.
- Do not instruct customers or third parties to bypass security, compliance, financial eligibility, or monitoring controls.
- Report relevant questions or concerns through Raims official channels.
Relationships with customers, partners, and authorities
Raims relationships with customers, regulated partners, suppliers, authorities, and the market should be professional, clear, accurate, and compatible with contracts, applicable laws, and the platform's real capacity.
No one should promise features, deadlines, limits, financial approvals, operational exceptions, or regulatory outcomes without an appropriate basis.
- Communications should be truthful, complete within the necessary context, and should not omit relevant risks.
- Technical, operational, regulatory, or contractual limitations should be clearly communicated when relevant.
- Public statements on behalf of Raims should be made only by authorized people.
Reports and questions
Questions, concerns, or reports about integrity, fraud, conflicts of interest, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, access abuse, or non-compliance with this Code may be sent to integridade@raims.com.
Raims will handle reports with confidentiality compatible with the situation, protection against retaliation, and access limited to people necessary to evaluate the case.
Good-faith reports will be taken seriously. Whenever possible, include facts, dates, available documents, and people involved.
Raims does not tolerate retaliation against anyone who makes a good-faith report or cooperates to clarify a legitimate concern.
